Day 1: Welcome to the Dolomites - Welcome Evening
We warmly welcome you to the start of an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking Dolomites.
From the afternoon onwards, you are welcome to arrive at our hotel near Merano, our charming base at the foot of the South Tyrolean mountains. After checking in, you'll have plenty of time to meet the other participants, admire the impressive sports cars and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
In the evening, we gather for the official welcome briefing. We'll walk you through the program for the coming days, provide practical information and get to know each other. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner together to officially kick off this special Dolomites Edition in style.
Day 2: The Finest Driving Roads of Northern Italy
Today is all about the spectacular mountain roads of Northern Italy.
After a hearty breakfast, we'll gather at the hotel reception for the daily briefing. Then it's time to fire up the engines and set off on a route featuring some of Europe's most breathtaking mountain roads. Throughout the day, we'll drive over legendary mountain passes, tackle countless hairpin bends, and enjoy panoramic roads that seem to have been designed especially for driving enthusiasts.
Along the way, you'll be treated to stunning views, towering mountain peaks, and picturesque valleys. Of course, we'll make several stops throughout the day to admire the scenery, capture unforgettable photos, and enjoy the remarkable locations we'll visit together.
Around midday, we'll stop at a charming venue for a leisurely lunch before continuing our journey along even more spectacular driving roads and breathtaking panoramic viewpoints.
By late afternoon, we'll return to the hotel, where you can unwind in the wellness facilities, enjoy the hotel's amenities, or simply relax in your room. In the evening, we'll come together for an extensive dinner in the hotel restaurant. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to enjoy a drink, share stories from the day's drive, and get to know your fellow car enthusiasts even better.
Day 3: The Legendary Stelvio Pass Bormio & Umbrail Pass
A day packed with iconic hairpin bends and spectacular Alpine panoramas.
After breakfast, we depart for what is perhaps the most iconic driving day of the entire tour. Via beautiful mountain roads we make our way towards the legendary Stelvio Pass (2,758 m), world-famous for its 48 hairpin bends and as one of the highlights of the Giro d'Italia. Driving the Stelvio is a bucket-list experience for every true car enthusiast.
Midway through the route, we'll enjoy lunch at a unique location on the Bormio side of the Stelvio, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Afterwards, we continue via Bormio and cross the stunning Umbrail Pass (2,503 m), the highest paved mountain pass in Switzerland.
At the end of the afternoon, we visit the charming Schloss Rametz winery, where we'll enjoy a wine tasting in an authentic South Tyrolean setting. Afterwards, we return to the hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening together.
Day 4: Strada della Forra & Lake Garda
Today we leave the rugged mountain landscape of South Tyrol behind and head towards the Mediterranean beauty of Lake Garda.
After breakfast, we depart from Merano and make our way towards Lake Garda. The day begins with a relaxing coffee stop at the idyllic Castel Toblino, overlooking the beautiful lake of the same name.
Next, we drive the world-famous Strada della Forra, also known as the "James Bond Road." Featured in the movie Quantum of Solace, this spectacular route winds through narrow gorges, tunnels and dramatic cliffs, making it one of Italy's most unforgettable driving roads.
In the afternoon, we'll enjoy lunch at a unique location with panoramic views over the crystal-clear waters of Lake Garda. Afterwards, we continue along the lakeshore, passing picturesque villages, impressive mountains and charming Italian scenery.
By late afternoon, we arrive at our second hotel near Lake Garda. After a day filled with spectacular roads and unforgettable scenery, we conclude both the evening and this special edition with a wonderful farewell dinner together.
Day 5: Farewell to the Dolomites
Time flies when you're having fun!
After breakfast, it's unfortunately time to say goodbye to each other and to the magnificent Dolomites.
Together we've experienced unforgettable mountain passes, breathtaking scenery, fantastic cuisine and some of Europe's finest driving roads. Filled with incredible memories, everyone heads home at their own pace.

The FancyCarTours Dolomites Edition takes place from Wednesday, September 22 until Sunday, September 26, 2027. You are welcome to arrive at the hotel from Wednesday afternoon onwards. On Sunday, after breakfast, you are free to make your own journey home.
The tour starts at our hotel near Merano, Italy. You will travel to the starting location at your own convenience. Before departure, you will receive all practical information, including the exact hotel address.
During this road trip, you'll drive some of Europe's most iconic mountain roads, including Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Gardena Pass, Passo Valparola, the legendary Stelvio Pass, Umbrail Pass, and the spectacular Strada della Forra along Lake Garda. These roads are true bucket-list destinations for every driving enthusiast.
On average, we drive around 300 kilometers per day. The route is divided into several stages with plenty of time for coffee breaks, lunch, photo stops, and, of course, to fully enjoy the spectacular surroundings.
Yes. All selected roads are well-maintained and perfectly suited for sports cars. Please keep in mind that mountain roads can be steep and feature many hairpin bends. Our philosophy is simple: drive safely and enjoy every moment.
You will stay for four nights in carefully selected 4-star hotels. The first three nights will be spent near Merano, while the final night will be in a charming hotel on the shores of Lake Garda.
The price includes four hotel nights, four breakfast buffets, three lunches, four dinners (excluding drinks), three fully planned driving routes, GPX files, a detailed tour booklet, professional photography, a cinematic aftermovie, guidance from experienced tour guides, and, of course, an unforgettable atmosphere.
Fuel, toll roads, drinks during dinner, personal expenses, travel and cancellation insurance, and your journey to and from Italy are not included.
Absolutely. Many participants join our tours on their own. You'll quickly get to know fellow car enthusiasts, creating a friendly and welcoming group atmosphere from the very first day.
This edition is exclusively limited to a maximum of 20 sports cars. Keeping the group small ensures a relaxed atmosphere and allows everyone to fully enjoy the driving experience.
Yes. Before departure, you'll receive the GPX files along with a detailed tour booklet, making it easy to load the routes into your navigation system and prepare for the trip.
We strongly recommend that every participant takes out comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance. This ensures you can enjoy the trip with complete peace of mind should anything unexpected happen.
When booking, you'll pay a deposit of €571. The remaining balance will be due at a later date, and you'll receive all payment details well in advance.

Yes. A professional photographer will accompany the tour throughout the trip. After the event, you'll receive a collection of high-quality photos as well as a professionally produced aftermovie to remember the experience.

The tour will go ahead as planned in almost all weather conditions. If a mountain pass is temporarily closed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, FancyCarTours will provide a carefully selected alternative route, ensuring you still enjoy an incredible driving experience.
On average, we drive approximately 300 kilometers (186 miles) per day. Each route is divided into several stages with plenty of time for coffee breaks, lunch, photo opportunities, and fuel stops. This keeps the tour relaxed while allowing you to fully enjoy both the driving experience and the stunning surroundings.
This road trip is designed for people who love sports cars and unforgettable driving experiences. Most participants are between 40 and 50 years old and enjoy scenic roads, great company, fine dining, and relaxed touring. Our guests don't drive against the clock—they drive to enjoy the roads, the scenery, and the company of fellow enthusiasts.
Yes. Every route has been carefully selected and follows well-maintained asphalt roads. Modern sports cars, GT cars, and exclusive classics are all welcome to participate. Naturally, your vehicle should be in good mechanical condition before joining the tour.
Absolutely. A professional photographer and videographer accompany the road trip throughout the entire weekend. Action shots, scenic images, and cinematic footage are captured at various locations along the route. After the tour, you'll receive the photos and a professionally produced aftermovie as a lasting memory of the experience.
Yes. Every participant receives the GPX routes and a comprehensive tour booklet before departure. This allows you to easily load the routes into your navigation system and know exactly what to expect during the weekend.
Yes. Both hotels offer parking facilities for all participating vehicles. While we take great care in selecting suitable hotels, we always recommend using proper vehicle security (such as an SCM4 or SCM5 security system where applicable) and not leaving valuables visible inside your car.
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance provides cover for unexpected medical situations, cancellations, lost luggage, breakdowns, and other unforeseen circumstances, allowing you to travel with complete peace of mind.
Every route is carefully prepared in advance. However, weather conditions, roadworks, local events, or other unforeseen circumstances may require us to adjust the itinerary. If that happens, our experienced tour guides will provide a carefully selected alternative. Our philosophy is simple: go with the flow, enjoy life, and make unforgettable memories together.
