During this 11-day road trip, you'll drive the most beautiful routes in the world together with other car enthusiasts; such as the spectacular Trollstigen route and The Atlantic Road (straight through the Atlantic Ocean). Go back in time with us and experience the life of a real Viking, take a boat trip through the Fjords, and experience the Seven Sister waterfalls up close. In short; an unforgettable experience!

Overnight stays in 10 different
atmospheric/typical hotels.
During this edition, we will make a round trip and stay at a different accommodation every evening. We have made a selection of beautiful 3 & 4-star hotels that we found suitable for this edition.
Day 1: Reception/welcome evening Hirtshals (Denmark)
You travel to the location in Denmark on your own. We gather at the hotel where a welcome dinner takes place in the evening. Here you will meet the organization and the other participants, and we will go through the program together.
Day 2: Ferry from Hirtshals to Kristiansand
Together we drive to the port and board Fjord Line for the crossing to Kristiansand (Norway). The crossing takes just under 4 hours. We arrive at 13:25; Welcome to Norway! The first night we stay in a historic and iconic hotel.
Day 3: Låtefossen waterfalls
Today we drive through the Odda Valley, scenic routes, and past the impressive Låtefossen waterfalls.
Day 4: Gudvangen & Viking Valley experience
We start the day with a beautiful route via beautiful roads and Nature Parks. In the afternoon we arrive in the village of Gudvangen at a Viking village where the Viking life is still truly lived. We go back 1000 years in time during a 'Viking Experience' tour. In the village, you can talk to the Vikings, perhaps do some crafts in the traditional way, and throw axes or do archery. And all this in a beautiful place: in the heart of the Norwegian Nærøyfjord, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Day 5: Flam - Aurlandsvangen - Scenic route Aurlandsfjellet
Today we wind up through the mountains. Including via the Aurlandsfjellet; a beautiful mountain pass of about 48 kilometers between Aurland and Lærdal. This road offers a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape, with steep rock walls, green valleys, and impressive waterfalls. The tourist route Aurlandsfjellet, also called Aurlandsvegen, is one of the most beautiful roads in Norway. Along the way, you will encounter the beautiful Norwegian nature. This picturesque route will certainly make an impression!
Day 6: Boat trip Geiranger (7 sister waterfall) & lunch at high altitude
We leave the cars for a while and experience the Geirangerfjord in another adventurous way. Namely; by RIB boat. Along the way, we make several photo stops including the famous 'Seven Sister waterfalls'! You can't get closer to nature!
After the boat trip, we continue on our way with our vehicles. We make a stop for lunch at a unique location; on top of a mountain. To get to the location, we use a Gondola.
Day 7: Atlantic road
Before we set off, we first visit a local salmon smokehouse where Petter gives us a behind-the-scenes look. After that, we resume our journey. And if you think you've seen all the beauty, you're wrong. Today we drive to the Atlantic Road. The Atlantic Way is an 8-kilometer route that runs straight through the Atlantic Ocean. A ride on the Atlantic Way is definitely an unforgettable experience and is therefore called one of the most beautiful routes in the world!
Day 8: Rondane National Park Scenic Route
Via the beautiful Rondane National Park, we drive southwards towards Halfjell.
Day 9: Norsk Folkemuseum
From Halfjell, we drive on to Oslo. Here we make a stop at the Norsk Folkemuseum; one of the largest and oldest museums in Norway. The Norwegian Folk Museum has a large open-air section with more than 150 historic buildings.
Day 10: Ferry crossing Kristiansand - Hirtshals
Time flies when you're having fun! The end of the trip is approaching, and it's time to board the ferry that will take us back to Hirtshals (Denmark). In the evening, we spend one more night in Denmark where we look back and toast to an awesome adventure during dinner!
Day 11: Departure to the Netherlands
In the morning, there is still the opportunity to use the breakfast buffet. We return home on our own. And we look back on an unforgettable journey!

The average participant of FancyCarTours is typically around 40 years old. He understands that life is full of challenges and therefore has a positive outlook on life. During our tours, he enjoys the company of like-minded people, people with the same attitude towards life. Moreover, he has a passion for sports cars and driving. Discovering beautiful environments in places you don't easily reach by car, all in the company of other car enthusiasts, is a true pleasure for him. Please note, read this CAREFULLY. This edition is for adventurous participants. To participate, you must be a go-with-the-flow person. After registration, you will be called by the organization (if we don't know you well enough) to screen whether you are suitable for this edition.
We drive approximately 300 km daily, divided into 2 or 3 parts. Keep in mind that each stage takes an average of 2 hours. Of course, we have scheduled breaks and lunches to make the ride smooth and relaxed.
FancyCarTours organizes road trips, where driving is central. Our primary goal is to let you drive via the most beautiful roads. Although we sometimes plan fun excursions, it's important to understand that these excursions are just a supplement to the ride. FancyCarTours primarily focuses on organizing road trips and not excursion tours. If you want to visit a country for more excursions, we recommend booking extra nights after the trip so you can explore the area at your own pace.
Norway has good roads. So your car is suitable for this edition.
We start in Denmark, where we collectively take the boat towards Oslo. You only need to sit on the boat for about 2 hours.
We ensure that you can park at the hotel. However, we are not responsible for theft or loss of your car. It is advisable to have an SCM5 or SCM4 security system in your car.
