Our route eventually leads us to the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairy-tale castle that inspired Disney’s iconic castle.
Especially for automotive enthusiasts, we have enhanced this journey with visits to two absolute highlights of the automotive world: the Porsche Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. We will also enjoy a unique overnight stay at the iconic V8 Hotel, where the passion for classic and modern cars can be felt everywhere. Walk past legendary Silver Arrows, concept cars and extraordinary racing cars. Expect fascinating stories, impressive displays and an insight into more than 135 years of automotive history.
Porsche Museum – Located in Zuffenhausen, where Porsche sports cars are born. Here, the icons are proudly displayed: from the 356 and 911 to Le Mans prototypes and record-breaking GT models. Beautifully presented, with a strong focus on technology, design and, of course, motorsport.

DAY 1: Arrival and Welcome Evening
We warmly welcome you at the start of a unique journey along the iconic Romantic Road.
Our tour begins in style with a warm welcome at a beautiful hotel. At the end of the afternoon, we gather for a relaxed welcome reception, where you can meet the other participants while enjoying a drink. Afterwards, we sit down together for dinner. During this enjoyable evening, we will go through the programme for the days ahead, ensuring that everyone knows exactly what to expect during this extraordinary road trip filled with beautiful routes, impressive castles, culture and culinary highlights.
DAY 2: Romantic Road – Rothenburg – Kloster Bronnbach
A route featuring some of the region’s most iconic locations, including fairy-tale Rothenburg.
After breakfast, we begin our drive along the famous Romantic Road, one of Germany’s most beautiful scenic touring routes. The road takes us through rolling hills, picturesque half-timbered villages and historic towns, with a new and beautiful view around every corner. Today, we follow a carefully planned route featuring some of the region’s most iconic locations. The absolute highlight is a visit to the fairy-tale town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Inside its centuries-old city walls, it feels as though time has stood still. Narrow streets, colourful half-timbered houses and impressive city gates create a unique atmosphere that transports you straight back to the Middle Ages.
In the afternoon, we visit the magnificent Kloster Bronnbach, a former Cistercian monastery with a rich history and a long-standing wine tradition. During a guided tour, we explore the impressive monastery buildings and learn more about the history of this remarkable location. Afterwards, we enjoy a wine tasting featuring a selection of characterful regional wines, while learning more about viticulture in the Tauber Valley.
Following this special visit, we continue our journey towards a charming castle hotel, where we conclude the day in style. In the evening, we enjoy a delicious group dinner in a historic setting, where traditional German hospitality and refined gastronomy come together.
DAY 3: Romantic Road – Dinkelsbühl – Neuschwanstein Castle – Füssen
The world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle.
Today, we continue along the iconic Romantic Road, with more fairy-tale sights waiting along the way. Among other places, we drive through charming Dinkelsbühl – a beautifully preserved medieval town surrounded by historic city walls and filled with colourful half-timbered houses.
After lunch, we continue towards the absolute crown jewel of the Romantic Road: the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Alps, this fairy-tale castle built by King Ludwig II is one of the most photographed castles in the world. We stop here for a guided tour of the castle.
In the late afternoon, we arrive at our next hotel, surrounded by peace and nature. After checking in, you have time to relax and prepare for the evening.
In the evening, we enjoy a stylish group dinner in the hotel restaurant. While enjoying local specialities and fine wines, we look back on an unforgettable day. Afterwards, we conclude the evening with a relaxed drink – the perfect opportunity to share stories with your fellow travellers.
DAY 4: Mercedes-Benz Museum & Motorworld V8 Hotel
From historic roads to modern automotive legends.
After exploring picturesque routes and magnificent castles, we leave the romantic landscapes of Southern Germany behind and travel to the birthplace of the German automotive industry: Stuttgart.
Our first highlight of the day is a visit to the impressive Mercedes-Benz Museum, where more than 130 years of automotive history come to life. From the world’s very first automobile to the latest technological innovations, this museum is an absolute must for every car enthusiast.
After the museum, we enjoy a delicious group lunch before continuing our journey to the remarkable V8 Hotel at Motorworld Stuttgart. This unique hotel is entirely dedicated to the world of automobiles. Every room features its own distinctive theme, while extraordinary classic cars, exclusive sports cars and unique automotive details can be found throughout the hotel.
After checking in, you will have plenty of time to explore Motorworld Stuttgart at your own pace. Walk past an impressive collection of classic cars, exclusive supercars, restoration workshops and luxury showrooms. It is a unique destination where automotive enthusiasts can easily spend hours exploring.
In the evening, we enjoy a group dinner at the V8 Hotel.
DAY 5: Porsche Museum & Grand Finale – Auf Wiedersehen!
A fitting conclusion to an unforgettable road trip.
After breakfast, one final absolute highlight awaits us. We visit the world-famous Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. Here, we discover the rich history of one of the world’s most iconic sports car brands and admire an impressive collection of legendary models, racing cars and prototypes.
After the museum, we conclude this special edition together with an enjoyable farewell lunch. It is the perfect moment to share memories, exchange experiences and look back one last time on five fantastic days filled with driving pleasure, impressive routes, culture, gastronomy and automotive passion.
After lunch, we say goodbye and everyone continues their journey home independently – undoubtedly with a camera full of photographs, new friendships and a lifetime of unforgettable memories from a unique FancyCarTours experience.

On average, we drive approximately 300 kilometers (185 miles) per day. The route is divided into several stages with plenty of breaks for coffee, lunch, photos, and fuel stops. This keeps the tour relaxed while allowing you to fully enjoy both the driving experience and the beautiful surroundings.

Most participants are between 40 and 50 years old and enjoy scenic roads, great food, luxury hotels, and good company. We don't race against the clock—we enjoy the journey, the scenery, and the experience together.
Yes. The route has been carefully designed using well-maintained asphalt roads. Modern sports cars, GT cars, and exclusive classics can all participate without any issues. Naturally, your vehicle should be in good mechanical condition.
Absolutely. A professional photographer and videographer accompany the tour throughout the entire journey. Action shots, scenic photos, and cinematic footage will be captured at various locations along the route. After the tour, you'll receive all the photos along with a professionally produced aftermovie.
Yes. Before departure, every participant receives the complete GPX routes together with a detailed tour handbook. This allows you to easily load the routes into your navigation system and know exactly what to expect during the trip.
Yes. Parking is available at all hotels for participating vehicles. While we always choose accommodations with suitable parking facilities, we recommend having a proper vehicle security system (such as SCM4 or SCM5) and never leaving valuables visible inside your car.
Yes, we strongly recommend it. A comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance policy provides protection against unexpected medical situations, cancellations, lost luggage, breakdowns, and other unforeseen circumstances, allowing you to travel with complete peace of mind.
Every route is carefully prepared in advance. However, weather conditions, roadworks, events, or other unforeseen circumstances may require changes to the itinerary. If that happens, our tour guides will provide an excellent alternative. Our philosophy is simple: go with the flow, enjoy life, and make the most of the adventure together.
