5 Day French Alps Edition with 20 sports cars

This 5-day FancyCarTours road trip is a fully organised sports car experience through the most beautiful mountain passes of the French Alps. During three extensive driving days, you will travel with a maximum of 20 sports cars along iconic roads such as Alpe d'Huez, Col du Galibier, Route Napoléon and Combe Laval. The focus is on driving pleasure, beautiful scenery, great company and a relaxed atmosphere.

This road trip has been specially organised for people who enjoy life and have a passion for driving and sports cars. Previous experience of driving on mountain roads is not required. The average participant is around 40 years old and enjoys beautiful routes, good company and travelling with like-minded car enthusiasts.

The trip is almost fully organised and includes four nights in a 4-star hotel, four breakfast buffets, four three-course dinners including a drinks package, three lunches during the routes, three fully organised driving days, a visit to the Choranche Caves, GPX routes, a detailed roadbook, professional photography, an aftermovie and, of course, a fantastic atmosphere.

The participation fee is €2,799 for two people. A deposit of €489 is required when booking. The remaining balance can be paid at a later date in accordance with the FancyCarTours payment terms.

On average, we drive between 250 and 320 kilometres per day. The routes are divided into several stages, with plenty of stops for coffee, photographs, lunch and time to enjoy the surroundings together.

Absolutely. The selected Alpine roads have been carefully chosen for their excellent road surfaces, beautiful combinations of corners and spectacular views. The routes are ideal for sports cars and GT cars.

The tour starts at Château de la Commanderie in Eybens, close to Grenoble in France. The address is: 17 Avenue d'Echirolles, 38320 Eybens. Participants are responsible for making their own way to the starting location.

During this edition, you will stay for four nights at the charming Château de la Commanderie. This elegant 4-star hotel offers comfortable rooms, an excellent restaurant, peaceful gardens and an ideal location at the foot of the French Alps.

This exclusive edition is limited to a maximum of 20 sports cars. This keeps the group manageable and ensures plenty of personal attention and a friendly atmosphere throughout the trip.

Yes. Every participant will receive the GPX routes and a detailed roadbook. This allows you to easily load the routes into your navigation system and know exactly what to expect each day.

Yes. A professional photographer and videographer will accompany the group throughout the tour. Afterwards, you will receive the photographs and a professional aftermovie as a lasting memory of this special trip.

Certainly. The price is based on two people per car. Many participants bring their partner or a friend so they can enjoy the routes, hotels and sociable evenings together.

The tour will continue as planned. The organisers will closely monitor the weather conditions. If necessary, a route will be adjusted to ensure the safety of all participants.

Yes. The route has been carefully planned along well-maintained paved roads. Modern sports cars, GT cars and exclusive classic cars can all participate without difficulty. Naturally, your vehicle must be in good technical condition.

Action photographs, atmospheric images and video footage will be captured at various locations along the route. Yes. Parking facilities are available at the hotel for the participating cars. Although we naturally take great care around the vehicles, we always recommend using a good vehicle security system, such as SCM4 or SCM5, and not leaving valuable belongings visible inside the car.

Yes, we strongly recommend this. Good travel and cancellation insurance can provide cover in the event of unexpected medical situations, cancellations, lost luggage, breakdowns or other unforeseen circumstances. This allows you to travel with greater peace of mind.

We prepare every route carefully. However, weather conditions, roadworks, events or other unforeseen circumstances may require us to deviate from the original plan. In that case, our tour guides will arrange a suitable alternative. The attitude of our participants is simple: go with the flow, enjoy life and make it a fantastic experience together.
