Sometimes it is the silence of a deserted road that leaves the greatest impression.

Glencoe
A journey through the soul of Scotland
Glencoe is a majestic valley, set in the Scottish Highlands, known for its rugged beauty and offering one of the most dramatic landscapes in Scotland. The valley was carved by ancient glaciers and is surrounded by the imposing peaks of the Three Sisters.
Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by a panorama of raw natural beauty.
For film lovers it is a unique experience to drive the same roads that James Bond made immortal in his Aston Martin DB5. As you drive through the valley, you may recognise a few places from the James Bond film Skyfall.
Isle of Skye
An enchanting fairy tale
The Isle of Skye, on the west coast of Scotland, is a place that seems to come straight from a fairy tale. Known for its dramatic landscapes, mysterious misty hills and rugged coastlines, this island is a dream destination for travellers who want to experience unspoilt Scotland. A road trip across the Isle of Skye offers a unique combination of adventure, freedom and a feeling of complete connection with nature. Although the roads can sometimes be challenging, especially the narrow single track roads where cars have to pass each other on special passing places, this only adds to the charm of the island.
North Coast 500
The North Coast 500 is a route that every traveller should experience at least once in their life.
For lovers of breathtaking landscapes, the North Coast 500 (NC500) is a dream come true. This iconic route of about 830 kilometres, often called the "Route 66 of Scotland", winds through the rugged north of Scotland and offers an unforgettable adventure. With twisting mountain passes, rolling coastal roads and vast plains where the horizon seems endless, driving here is anything but ordinary. A large part of the NC500 follows the rugged Scottish coastline, with the sea at your side and imposing cliffs, hidden beaches and picturesque bays around every corner. Many parts of the route are narrow roads where you let oncoming traffic pass on special lay-bys. It asks for a little patience, but it also offers a unique sense of adventure.
For adventurous souls and lovers of driving, this route is a must.
The only downside? At the end of the drive you want to do it all over again!
Loch Ness
A boat trip across the world-famous Loch Ness
A boat trip across the world-famous Loch Ness with Jacobyte Cruises is an experience that truly brings the magic of the country to life. This vast lake, surrounded by the lush hills of the Scottish Highlands, has fascinated people for generations with its mysterious stories and the legend of the famous monster, Nessie. Step aboard the Jacobyte boat: the comfortable seats, panoramic windows and open decks make it possible to take in the landscape from every perspective. The guides on board, experts in the history and folklore of the lake, share fascinating stories about Nessie, old castles along the shore, and the deepest secrets of the mysterious water. Whether you enjoy the spectacular views, listen to exciting stories, or simply hope for a glimpse of Nessie, this excursion is a fun addition during your journey through Scotland.

Ad Gefrin
Whiskey distillery
In the heart of Northumberland, close to the Scottish border, lies Ad Gefrin Distillery, a unique destination that combines history and craftsmanship with ease.
This distillery, opened in 2022, is not just a place where whisky is made – it is a cultural experience that takes visitors on a journey through time and taste.
The moment you enter the distillery you feel transported to another time. The visitor centre offers fascinating exhibitions with remarkable stories.
During a tour you get a look behind the scenes: from the process of malting barley to the maturation of the whisky in carefully selected casks.
